6. Content & Intellectual Property
Our content
All platform design, software, logos, text, and branding are owned by Innoovatum and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute them without our written permission.
Instructor content
Instructors retain ownership of the original content they create. By uploading content to the Platform, instructors grant Innoovatum a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, and deliver that content to enrolled students for the duration of their enrolment.
Your licence to enrolled courses
Upon enrolment and payment (where applicable), you receive a limited, non-transferable, personal licence to access and view the course content for your own learning purposes. You may not record, redistribute, resell, or share course access with others.
7. Payments & Refunds
- Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Accepted payment methods include UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, and payment links.
- For courses requiring manual payment confirmation, access is granted after the instructor verifies receipt.
- Refund policy: refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of enrolment and before completing more than 20% of the course content. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
- Free courses are available without any payment. We reserve the right to change the pricing of any course at any time.
8. Instructor Terms
If you create and publish courses as an instructor, additional terms apply:
- All course content must be original or you must hold the rights to publish it on the Platform.
- Content must not contain misleading claims about outcomes or certifications.
- Innoovatum retains a platform fee of 10% of each confirmed payment. The remaining 90% is disbursed to the instructor.
- Instructors are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and quality of their course content.
- We reserve the right to review, remove, or decline any content that violates these Terms or our quality standards.
- Instructor accounts that repeatedly violate content standards may be suspended or terminated.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Innoovatum does not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
- We are not liable for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any course content created by instructors.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000 — whichever is greater.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:
- By you: you may delete your account at any time via your profile settings or by contacting us.
- By us: we may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users or the Platform.
Upon termination, your licence to access course content ceases. Data retention following deletion is governed by our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
